sept09 024 Benjamin Moore Color Capture for the iPhone. Yep. There’s an app for that!

Now you can capture that color on the job or anywhere and instantly match it to one of the more than 3,300 hues that comprise Benjamin Moore's color system then have it mixed back at the paint store.

sept09 025 You can take a photo of an object or choose one from your library and move your finger around the image to find a color on the Benjamin Moore Color Pallets.

024 Here is a real life example. I have a new pre-finished fiberglass front door and the customer wants the white metal overhead stained to match the front door.

I snap a photo of the unfinished brickmold to get my primer base coat color to apply to the white metal overhead door.

SW 7508 Tavern Taupe is darn close.

IMG_0739 Ta Da! Instantly changed the white metal door to a stained door. Now I can paint the white on the original pre-primed door jamb.
