Purdy CONTRACTOR 1ST Roller Covers

Purdy CONTRACTOR 1ST Roller Cover Two of anything is better than one, but three? I’m not sure which makes me more taken aback, the 3 pack  bargain price or the quality of this cover.

Made from 100% medium-density polyester, the knitted CONTRACTOR 1ST is virtually a shed free roller cover with a permanent place in our trade. It’s no White Dove or Golden Eagle but its not priced the same either.

The key-word above is medium-density so what this means to you is this... if you are accustomed to the density of a 1/2” Golden Eagle then you may want to consider a 3/4” Contractor 1st. I found the 1/2” lacks the body I need to fit my style of rolling madness. These covers are great on first coats when you have many wall colors. The covers are priced good enough to be considered throwaways. You have to be careful you don't spend more in your time than the cover is worth cleaning.

Purdy CONTRACTOR 1ST Roller Cover Here is one of the 3/8” covers used one time on one 12x12 bedroom. As you can see, it would be best to reshape the bevels prior to 1st use otherwise you will get some trailing with the 3/8” cover. Just cut the  bevel way back and its good to go.

Other Uses: I often have a need for a quality shed-free cover with intent to throw it out after use such as spreading oil-base primers. This cover provides a nice alternative to spending top dollar for a shed-free cover like the Golden Eagle or White Dove only to throw it out.
